Kindergarten

Sophie was up early and dressed right away for her first day of kindergarten. She was excited. Take notice of my baby who knows how to tie her shoes already! Ignore the messy house but check out the dog peeing in the background.

Well we didn't miss the bus picking her up on her first day of school like we did Riley...whew!

I drove to school like I did on Riley's first day to get a picture of her getting off the bus and to walk her into school. She was fine up until the kids lined up by the doors, then I could tell she was a little nervous.

Big girl by her locker and the locker which holds her rest mat...jealous? I know I am; I wish I had a locker with a rest mat.

First day of kindergarten was a success! She enjoyed it.

School days

Riley missed the bus in the morning picking him up so we had to jump in the truck and chase it down as it was picking up other kids. Poor little guy was flustered on the very first day of 2nd grade. I then drove to school to get a picture of him getting off the bus since I missed him getting on it.

Here he is getting off the bus on a corner which really didn't make sense because the bus would then drive right past our house. I worked it out so he is picked up and dropped off at his driveway....it only made sense and was safer for him and Sophie.
